Alexis Taylor is an English singer-songwriter and musician best known as the lead vocalist and keyboardist of the indie rock band Hot Chip. Born in London in 1978, Taylor began his musical journey in the late 1990s, forming Hot Chip with fellow musicians Joe Goddard and Owen Clarke. The band gained critical acclaim for their eclectic blend of electronic, indie, and dance music, with Taylor's distinctive vocals and introspective lyrics becoming a defining characteristic of their sound. Beyond Hot Chip, Taylor has also pursued solo projects, releasing several acclaimed albums and collaborating with artists such as Four Tet and Panda Bear.
