Clarita Parra is a celebrated Chilean folk singer, composer, and interpreter known for her deep roots in Chilean traditional music. She comes from the illustrious Parra family, a prominent name in Chilean folk culture, being the daughter of Lalo Parra and Clara Moreno and the niece of legendary figures like Violeta Parra. Clarita's musical career spans over seven decades, beginning in early childhood when she performed in circuses across Chile. She has released numerous albums including *Navegante*, *Tiempo de Cantar*, and the recent *Cuecas Pa La Negra Ester*, showcasing her dedication to the Chilean folk genre and its preservation.
