**Maxx** is a German Eurodance project that gained international success in the mid-1990s. The group's name is an acronym for "Maximum Xstasy." Maxx was formed through the collaboration of German record producer Juergen Wind and music executive David Brunner. They teamed up with British songwriter Bruce Hammond Earlam to create their debut single "Get-A-Way," which became a huge hit. The project featured British singer Linda Meek and rapper Boris Köhler, who performed under the stage name Gary Bokoe. Maxx's other notable hits include "No More (I Can't Stand It)" and "You Can Get It." The group's success led to multiple performances on major music shows like "Top of the Pops" and appearances on MTV specials. However, due to creative differences and business disputes, the project disbanded in 1995. Maxx reunited in 2016, with Linda Meek, now known as Elyse G Rogers, continuing to perform under the Maxx name with rapper Twitch.
