Croc Shop

Croc Shop is a veteran electro-industrial band that came out of New Jersey in the late '80s, originally under the name Crocodile Shop. They started off blending elements of post-punk and synthpop before evolving into a heavier, more aggressive electronic sound that blends EBM, synth-driven industrial, and darkwave vibes. Known for their energetic beats, politically charged lyrics, and a DIY ethos, they made a mark in the underground electronic scene throughout the '90s and early 2000s. Releases like Perpetual Sequence, The Rest in Pieces, and Resist! showcase their ability to mix catchy melodies with darker, resonant themes.

Fronted by Mick Hale, Croc Shop built a loyal following in goth and industrial music circles, with a sound that's accessible but retains an edgy, underground appeal. They’ve released music through labels like Metropolis Records and Tinman Records, consistently pushing the boundaries of their genre while staying true to their roots. Over the decades, they've become a cult favorite for fans of intelligent, beat-driven electronic music with a dark heart.
