Bert-Åke Varg

Bert-Åke Varg was a beloved Swedish actor and singer who had a long and varied career spanning several decades. Born in 1932 in Hörnefors, Sweden, Varg got his start in the entertainment industry in the 1950s. He became well-known for his versatility, working in theater, film, television, and voice acting.

Varg was particularly famous for his voice work, lending his talents to Swedish dubs of many popular animated series and films, including Tintin and Asterix. He also had a long-running role as Gustav Sjögren in the TV series Rederiet in the 1990s. Varg continued working until late in life, passing away on December 31, 2022 at the age of 90.
