Kispál és a Borz was an influential Hungarian alternative rock band formed in Pécs in 1987. The band's core lineup consisted of András Kispál (guitarist and primary songwriter), András Lovasi (vocalist and bassist), Gábor Bräutigam (keyboardist), and Gábor Leskovics (drummer). They are regarded as one of the most significant and groundbreaking acts in the Hungarian music scene, melding rock with funk, jazz, and blues influences, as well as incorporating Hungarian musical traditions.
