Loveboy

Loveboy is a Canadian rock band that rose to fame in the 1980s. The band is known for their catchy melodies, energetic live performances, and hit songs like "Turn Me Loose" and "Working for the Weekend." Loveboy has released 10 studio albums, sold over 10 million records worldwide, and has been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

The band was formed in 1979 in Toronto, Ontario. The original lineup consisted of Mike Reno (vocals), Paul Dean (guitar), Doug Johnson (bass), and Matt Frenette (drums). Loveboy quickly gained a following in Canada, and their debut album, "Loveboy," was released in 1980. The album was a commercial success, and it spawned the hit singles "Turn Me Loose" and "Working for the Weekend." Loveboy has continued to release music and tour throughout the years, and they remain one of Canada's most popular rock bands.
