MADRiiNA is the stage name of Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, a Nigerian singer-songwriter and actress born on September 23, 1991, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. She began her music journey at a very young age, singing at 3 and writing songs by 7. Cynthia started as a backup vocalist in her mother's band and released her debut single "Dutty Stepping" at 17. She later moved to Lagos and signed with Northside Entertainment Inc. in 2013, under which she rose to fame with hit singles like "Don't Break My Heart" and "Lead Me On." Known for blending genres such as dancehall, reggae, pop, rap, and hip hop, she has experienced both accolades and challenges, including a highly publicized contract dispute that led her to change her stage name from Cynthia Morgan to Madrina.

More recently, MADRiiNA's music showcases a versatile blend of R&B, pop, and Afrobeats. A notable collaboration is her work with Colombian producer Thombs on the track "NO SOMOS NA," which highlights her soulful voice and introspective lyricism paired with fresh, intricate production.
