XweaponX

XweaponX is a straight edge hardcore band from Louisville, Kentucky, formed as a side project by members of the local hardcore scene, including key figures from Knocked Loose. Known for their high-energy, aggressive sound blending traditional hardcore punk with modern metalcore influences, they emphasize the ethical straight edge principles in their music. The band includes vocalist Dave Baugher, bassist Bryan Garris (also of Knocked Loose), guitarists Isaac Hale and Bo Lueders, and drummer Trey Garris.

They made a strong impression with their debut surprise split EP *Weapon of Pleasure* in 2023 and the critically acclaimed *Weapon X Demo* in 2022. Their sound is characterized by fast rhythms, heavy breakdowns, and raw vocals, delivering concise and powerful hardcore tracks. Recent releases such as the 2025 single *Everybody Breaks* demonstrate their ongoing evolution and commitment to the genre, making XweaponX a standout act in the modern straight edge hardcore scene.
