Myrath (meaning "legacy" in Arabic) is a Tunisian progressive metal band with a blend of heavy metal riffs and Middle Eastern melodies. Their unique sound, often referred to as "Blazing Desert Metal," is at once cinematic and heavy, featuring elements of symphonic power metal adorned with traditional Tunisian musical styles. The band was formed in 2001 and after gaining some initial local popularity, they made a significant impact on the international metal scene with their second album, "Desert Call," in 2010.

Over the years, Myrath has continued to evolve their musical style and storytelling, often dealing with themes of perseverance and personal struggle wrapped in rich, cultural instrumentation.
