Eyes of the Sun is a metalcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2015, the band consists of vocalist Jake Rodriguez, guitarists Chris Garza and Ryan Hayes, bassist Matt Garcia, and drummer Chris Enriquez. Their music is characterized by its heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and socially conscious lyrics. Eyes of the Sun has released two EPs, "Chapter I" and "Slavery of Another Name," and two full-length albums, "Walks of Life" and "My War." The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, and Trivium.
