Leo Van Doeselaar is a celebrated Dutch organist and classical pianist known for his expressive musicality and deep knowledge of historical performance practice. Born in the Netherlands, he has built a distinguished international career performing both as a soloist and with leading ensembles. Van Doeselaar is particularly renowned for his interpretations of Baroque and Romantic organ repertoire, regularly performing works by Bach, Franck, and Sweelinck on historically significant instruments across Europe.
In addition to his performance career, Van Doeselaar has served as a professor at the Universität der Künste Berlin, where he has mentored a new generation of organists. He’s also known for his collaborations with early music groups, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Netherlands Bach Society.
