Aghi Narottama

Aghi Narottama is a well-known Indonesian musician and film music director celebrated for his work on several notable films such as "Gundala" (2019), "Satan's Slaves" (2017), and "Sri Asih" (2022). He began his music career playing guitar in a band and gradually developed a passion for composing film scores, learning much about audio production along the way despite not having formal music education. His collaborations with prominent Indonesian filmmakers, including Joko Anwar and Nia Dinata, have earned him multiple awards and nominations, establishing him as a key figure in Indonesia's film music scene.

In addition to composing, Aghi is also a music producer, sound engineer, and lecturer at the Indonesia Music Institute. He cofounded the Rooftop Sound studio and has contributed his talents to numerous movie soundtracks, commercials, and albums for various artists. Aghi emphasizes starting small in the industry by working on friends’ projects and has maintained a close working relationship with filmmakers through mutual trust and shared passion for film music. His work reflects a blend of technical skill and creative insight, making him a respected and influential composer in contemporary Indonesian cinema.
