Bicep is an electronic music duo hailing from Belfast, Northern Ireland, composed of Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar. They first made a name for themselves in the early 2010s with a blog that featured a carefully curated selection of house, techno, and disco, as well as with their own DJ sets. Before long, they transitioned into music production, where they brought their deep knowledge and love for underground dance music to the forefront. Bicep's rise through the ranks of electronic music creators was marked by a unique sound that blends elements of house, techno, and UK rave culture— a sonic experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Their self-titled debut album 'Bicep' in 2017 received critical acclaim, establishing them firmly in the electronic music scene with hits like ‘Glue’ and ‘Aura.’ Following this success, they released 'Isles' in 2021, an album that expanded their emotive, euphoric sound to accommodate a wider array of influences and featured tracks such as 'Apricots' and 'Atlas'. 'Isles' was later expanded into a deluxe edition, supplementing their discography with additional remixes and tracks. Notable releases like 'Rain EP' and the Four Tet remix of their track 'Opal' showcase their ability to collaborate and reinterpret their music through the lens of fellow artists.
