Contra is a Croatian rock band formed in 1995 in Zagreb. The band's sound is a mix of hard rock, alternative rock, and pop rock. Contra has released seven studio albums, two live albums, and two compilation albums. The band has toured extensively throughout Croatia and the former Yugoslavia, and has also performed in several other European countries. Contra is one of the most popular rock bands in Croatia, and has won numerous awards, including the Croatian Music Award for Best Rock Album in 2003 and 2006.
