Klutae

Klutæ is an industrial music project from Denmark, founded by Claus Larsen, who is best known for his main act Leæther Strip. Originally launched in 1991 under the name Klute, Klutæ started off with a heavier industrial metal sound that combined electro-industrial elements with sampled guitars, resulting in a loud and energetic style. After going dormant in the late '90s, Larsen revived the project in 2006 as Klutæ to avoid confusion with UK drum and bass artist Klute. Since then, Klutæ has returned to a more classic electro-industrial sound known for its punkish attitude, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and a fun, raw edge compared to Larsen's other work.

Klutæ’s discography features albums like *Queer for Satan* (2020), *Black Piranha* (2017), and the recent *Godsent* (2025), showcasing a blend of electro-industrial, punk, and electronic influences with powerful beats and distinctive vocals. Claus Larsen describes Klutæ as more "loud and fun," reflecting the project’s unpredictable and high-energy vibe that appeals to fans of industrial and electronic music with a rebellious spirit.
