Michał Górczyński

Michał Górczyński is a renowned Polish clarinettist, born on April 30, 1977, in Warsaw. He specializes in the bass clarinet and has also developed a reputation as a composer, music teacher, and chamber musician. Górczyński graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied clarinet. He has explored various genres, including classical, theatre, and film music, as well as contemporary and experimental improvisational works. His album "Regions," released in 2021, features the contrabass clarinet and delves into free improvisation based on Polish folk melodies.
