**MONONKVL** is a cool Japanese songwriting duo made up of singer/songwriter **Sara Yoshida** and musician/composer **Ryuta Tsunoda**, who kicked things off in Tokyo back in 2011. Blending jazz, soul, electro, and more into their signature future-pop sound, they've dropped four albums so far—like their debut *Those who fly, those who crawl, those who sing* in 2013 and later ones such as *to the south* (2014) and *RELOADING CITY* (2018)—while nabbing cool accolades like the Jazz Japan Disc Award '14 Rookie of the Year.

In 2020, they switched up their name to **MONONKVL** (from Mononkul), and they've kept the hits coming with fresh 2025 releases like *I want us to laugh together at the dead end*, *miracle.*, and *HOTPOT*.
