Millencolin is a venerable force in the skate-punk scene hailing from Örebro, Sweden, formed in 1992. The band consists of vocalist and bassist Nikola Sarcevic, guitarists Erik Ohlsson and Mathias Färm, and drummer Fredrik Larzon. The quartet quickly became known for their melodic punk sound infused with elements of ska, which garnered them a dedicated fanbase in the European punk scene and beyond. The name "Millencolin" is taken from a skateboarding trick called the "melancholy."

Their career has seen them releasing several influential albums within the punk community, each showcasing their keen ability to blend high-energy punk rock with catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics. The band's progress and persistence were evident in their later works like "Machine 15" (2008) and "True Brew" (2015), the latter reinforcing their commitment to their roots while also displaying a mature sound that acknowledged their growth as musicians. The EP "True Brew" and subsequent album served to remind fans of their unwavering presence in the skate-punk domain. "SOS", their most recent album released in 2019, continues their tradition of crafting authentic punk anthems while addressing contemporary issues, ensuring that Millencolin's relevance and appeal persist across decades. With a career spanning over 30 years, Millencolin's influence on punk music remains indisputable, and their remarkable consistency ensures they remain a beloved fixture in the genre.
