Chicco Secci is an Italian DJ and music producer whose career has spanned key music capitals including Italy, Ibiza, and Miami. He began in the 1980s working as a music producer for Radio DeeJay in Milan and quickly gained recognition through club residencies, notably a five-year stint at Ibiza’s legendary KU (now Privilege), which helped him establish a wide following across Europe. His early tracks, such as the piano anthem “Whip of the Rhythm,” became classics in house music, gaining support from prominent DJs like Sasha and Pete Tong.
In 1993, Chicco moved to Miami and played a significant role in popularizing house music in the U.S., holding residencies at top venues and collaborating with key figures such as George Acosta, Robbie Rivera, Benny Benassi, and Gianluca Vacchi. His productions blend dreamy, melodic house with Afro-inspired beats, and he remains active in the scene with recent releases like “Running in the Air.” He is celebrated as a living legend who has consistently influenced house music across generations and regions.
