Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band were a soul and funk band formed in the mid-1960s. The band was led by singer Geno Washington, who was known for his powerful vocals and energetic stage presence. The Ram Jam Band was known for their tight musicianship and their ability to create a dance-floor-friendly groove. The band released several successful singles, including "Michael (The Lover)" and "Que Sera, Sera." They also toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. In the 1970s, the band's popularity began to decline, and they eventually disbanded. However, they reunited in the 1990s and continued to perform until Washington's death in 2016.
