Krijn Koetsveld

Krijn Koetsveld is a Dutch organist, harpsichordist, and conductor, particularly known for his expertise in the performance of early music, especially the works of Claudio Monteverdi. As you can probably tell from his recent releases, he's something of a Monteverdi specialist! He's recorded extensively, exploring not only Monteverdi's madrigals and sacred works but also his lesser-known organ music. Koetsveld's approach is informed by historical performance practices, bringing a fresh and insightful perspective to these masterpieces.

Beyond Monteverdi, Koetsveld's repertoire extends to other composers of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, as well as more modern composers like Arvo Pärt.
