deBasement is a Los Angeles-based electronic duo formed by Alli Logout, the iconic vocalist of the critically acclaimed punk band Special Interest, and Margo XS, a sought-after DJ and producer known for collaborations with artists like Zara Larsson, Kim Petras, and Ayesha Erotica. Emerging from the afterhours party scenes of Montreal and New Orleans, deBasement blends sharp punk attitude with futuristic production and dance-punk energy, creating a fresh and raw sound within LA’s DIY queer rave community.

They burst onto the scene with their debut double single “FRONT LEFT SPEAKER / FTDJ (Thank God)” in 2024 and have since gained attention for their explosive live performances and genre-defying music that mixes dance punk with modern ghettotech. They have been featured by notable outlets such as Pitchfork and BBC Radio 1, and have supported acts like Model/Actriz and Marie Davidson. Their work is recognized for uplifting the FLINTA community and rewriting the rules of electronic music with an authentic and confrontational edge.
