The Housemartins were a British indie pop band formed in Hull, England, in 1983. The band consisted of Paul Heaton (vocals, guitar), Stan Cullimore (guitar, vocals), Norman Cook (bass guitar), and Dave Hemingway (drums). The Housemartins released three studio albums: "London 0 Hull 4" (1986), "The People Who Grinned Themselves to Death" (1987), and "Now That's What I Call Quite Good" (1988). The band's music was characterized by its jangly guitars, catchy melodies, and witty lyrics. The Housemartins disbanded in 1988, but their music continues to be enjoyed by fans around the world.
