Melissa Mulungi

Melissa Mulungi is a talented Afro RnB artist with roots in Masaka, Uganda, though she was born and raised in Germany. At just 27 years old, she has already made her mark in the music scene with singles like "Empire of Love," "One Life," and her latest release, "Desire." Her music brings a unique blend of cultural rhythms, reflecting her diverse background. Before her music career took off, Mulungi was also involved in philanthropic work, having started an NGO at the age of 18, indicating her passion for making a positive impact beyond music.

Mulungi's journey into music began early; she started singing in a church choir at three years old. However, it was not until she moved to Uganda in 2020 that she started recording music professionally. Her first song, "Empire of Love," was released in 2020, marking the beginning of her professional music career. She identifies her music style as R'n'B, Soul, and Afrobeat, drawing inspiration from artists like Malaika and Irene Ntale. Despite her recent entrance into the recorded music scene, Melissa Mulungi has already received significant attention and support for her work.
