Outer Limit Lotus

Outer Limit Lotus is a Norwegian post-punk trio formed in 2015, consisting of members Henrik Øiestad Myrvold, Øystein Wyller Odden, and Vebjørn Guttormsgaard Møllberg. Their music has evolved from an initial intense deathrock sound to a unique blend of ice-cold post-punk and dark, playful melodies. The band's journey began with their first EP, "Cruising the Old World," and progressed through albums like "Lotus Eaters" to their more experimental and mature sound in "Dazzling Darkness." Inspired by themes of alienation, dreams, and social anxiety, their work is influenced by their rural Norwegian upbringing and the local music scene, including bands from the Black Metal scene.

Their recent releases include "Dazzling Darkness," "Soft Hand," and "The Beach," among others, showcasing their growth and versatility. The band has been supported by venues like Revolver and Blå in Oslo, and they continue to develop new material.
