Paolo Buonvino

Paolo Buonvino is an Italian composer known for his work in film and television. Born in 1968 in Sicily, he studied piano and music at prestigious institutions in Italy. Buonvino has composed scores for numerous Italian films, including several directed by Gabriele Muccino that became major hits in Italy. He's also worked on international productions, notably the Netflix series "Medici" and the 2020 film "Fatima." Buonvino has received several awards for his work, including a David di Donatello award in 2008 for the film "Quiet Chaos."

In addition to his film and TV work, Buonvino has explored other musical projects. In 2021, he released "Taranta Reimagined," a recording that blends popular and electronic music, featuring collaborations with well-known Italian artists. Buonvino continues to be an active and respected figure in the Italian film music scene.
