Tomas Sauter

Tomas Sauter is a Swiss jazz guitarist and composer, born on January 3, 1974, in Zürich. He began playing the guitar at the age of ten and later studied at the Jazz School in Lucerne from 1994 to 1998. Following his studies, Sauter became a teacher at the "Jazz Pop Rock" department of the Conservatory in Biel and later at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. He has led several musical projects, including the Tomas Sauter Tranceactivity trio and collaborations with other notable musicians. His recent releases include albums like *Treasure Hunt*, *Glances*, and *The Faraway Nearby*, showcasing his versatility in jazz.
