Martyr AD

Martyr AD was a metallic hardcore/metalcore band that stormed out of Indiana in the late '90s, blending bone-crushing breakdowns with searing socio-political commentary. Known for their raw energy and unrelenting sound, they dropped their debut album, *On Earth as It Is in Hell*, in 2003 via Victory Records, featuring tracks like "American Hollow" that became staples in the heavy music scene. Their music often tackled themes of corruption and existential angst, delivered through guttural vocals and chaotic riffs. Though they disbanded in 2005, their influence lingered in the metalcore underground, and they briefly reunited in the 2010s to reignite their ferocious live shows for both old and new fans.
