Saifond

Saifond, whose real name is Saifoulaye Baldé, is a talented Guinean singer and songwriter born in Labé. He moved to Conakry to continue his studies but found his true passion in music. Initially starting out as a dancer, Saifond then joined a rap group named Révolution 24 before launching his solo career. His music is renowned for its unique blend of traditional African rhythms and modern styles, often referred to as 'afro-pastoral.' He gained significant recognition with his debut single "*Djiwo Atchou Mi hidhè*" released in 2017, followed by hits like "*Naturel*," "*Fodari*," and "*Gnari Djinna*." His album "*Sabou No Wely*" was released in 2022, and he is currently preparing his second album.

Saifond has become a prominent figure in African music, celebrated for his distinctive voice and energetic stage presence. He has collaborated with notable artists and performed at various international venues, including the Stade Général Lansana Conté and festivals like Ecofest. Despite his rising fame, Saifond remains true to his roots, blending traditional and modern elements to create a captivating sound that resonates with audiences worldwide.
