Aggeu Marques is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and pediatrician, born in Caratinga in 1964. He spent his childhood and adolescence in Montes Claros before moving to Belo Horizonte in 1988. Marques began his musical career performing in Beatles cover bands, notably Sgt. Pepper's Band and Hocus Pocus, where he gained recognition for his interpretations of Paul McCartney's songs, including performances at the International Mersey Beatles Festival in Liverpool. In 2001, he released his first solo album, "Quer Saber," followed by "Aggeu" in 2004, which featured the successful song "Máquina do Tempo." His third album, "Ultra-Som," was released in 2007. Marques' music often blends Beatles influences with other styles, such as those from Oasis, Radiohead, and Brazilian artists like Clube da Esquina.
