Danko Jones

Danko Jones is a Canadian rock trio formed in Toronto in 1996. Fronted by the band's namesake, Danko Jones, who serves as the lead vocalist and guitarist, the group is rounded out by bassist John Calabrese and drummer Rich Knox. Known for their combustible blend of hard rock, punk, and blues, Danko Jones has carved out a niche for themselves in the rock scene with their electrifying live performances and no-frills, straightforward approach to music-making. Over the years, the band has developed a devoted fanbase, attracted by their gritty sound and Jones' oftentimes humorous and high-octane lyrical narratives.

Throughout their career, Danko Jones has maintained a prolific output, capturing audiences with their raw energy and riff-driven songs. Their most recent releases such as "Electric Sounds," "Get High?", and "Good Time" showcase a band that stays true to their rock roots while embracing a contemporary vibe. The remaster of their eponymous "Danko Jones" album pays homage to their enduring legacy in rock 'n' roll. In 2021, they released "Power Trio," signifying the tight, cohesive nature of the band's lineup and their mastery of delivering power-packed tracks. Meanwhile, songs like "Flaunt It," "Fists up High," and "Dance Dance Dance," from their earlier albums such as "A Rock Supreme," continue to energize stages around the world, asserting Danko Jones's position as stalwarts of the modern rock scene.
