Matt Corby

Matt Corby is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician whose soulful voice and introspective songwriting have captivated audiences both in his home country and internationally. Born on November 7, 1990, in Sydney, he first garnered attention as a runner-up on the talent show "Australian Idol" in 2007. However, Corby's musical journey truly began to flourish after he distanced himself from the commercial music scene and traveled abroad to develop his artistry. Returning to Australia with a matured perspective on music, Corby released the critically acclaimed "Brother" in 2011, which won him the ARIA Award for Song of the Year.

Over the years, Corby's sound has evolved, seamlessly blending elements of folk, soul, and rock. His debut album, "Telluric," released in 2016, showcased his knack for earthy tones and heartfelt lyrics, leading to a warm reception from both critics and fans. The following years saw Corby's discography expand with releases such as "Rainbow Valley" in 2018 and an array of singles including "If I Never Say a Word / Vitamin" and "Problems," which further solidify his place in the sphere of contemporary music. Known for his captivating live performances, Corby has also released live albums such as "Live on The Resolution Tour," allowing listeners to experience the raw emotion and captivating ambiance of his concerts. With each release, from the EP "Big Smoke" to "Miracle Love (Live)," Matt Corby continues to enchant listeners with his deep, resonating voice and thoughtful musical compositions.
