Victor Kinjo

Victor Kinjo is an Asian-Brazilian singer, composer, and researcher born in São Paulo. He began his musical journey early, singing Japanese songs as a child and learning piano at age 7 and guitar at 12. Kinjo is a fourth-generation Okinawan-Brazilian artist, blending his cultural heritage with his Brazilian roots. His work includes a range of releases like "Canto Pela Paz (Let's Get Along)," "Terráqueos," and "Vem pro Rio," often engaging themes of peace, identity, and connection. He has been recognized in the music scene, earning a nomination for Best Singer (regional music) at the 2018 Brazilian Music Awards. Victor Kinjo is also active as a researcher and producer, based between São Paulo and New York, creating music that bridges cultures and promotes diversity.
