Centinex

Centinex is a death metal band from Sweden that originally formed in 1990. Known for their raw and aggressive sound, Centinex emerged during the rise of the Swedish death metal scene, delivering a more traditional and straightforward style compared to some of their contemporaries. The band gained a loyal underground following with early releases and became known for blending old-school death metal influences with crushing modern production.

Over the years, Centinex went through several lineup changes and even disbanded in 2006, only to reform in 2014 with a renewed focus and intensity. Since their comeback, they've released a string of punishing albums like Redeeming Filth, Doomsday Rituals, and Death In Pieces, staying true to their roots while showcasing their relentless energy. With songs like “As You Die” and “Symphony Of Screams,” Centinex continues to deliver uncompromising, no-frills death metal that appeals to both old-school purists and newer fans alike.
