Batfoot!

Batfoot!, stylized as Batfoot!, is a punk and pop punk band hailing from Sydney, Australia. Formed in 2008, the group includes Craig Hughes, Justin McLoughlin, Jimmy Campbell, and Lucas Woods. They are heavily influenced by renowned punk acts like Teenage Bottlerocket, Screeching Weasel, The Queers, Chixdiggit, and notably, The Ramones. Batfoot!'s music is often described as "ramonescore," reflecting their deep roots in classic punk rock. Over the years, they have performed alongside notable bands such as Teenage Bottlerocket, The Dickies, and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Notable releases include their albums *Brain Dead* (2012) and *Cut the Cord* (2016), as well as EPs like *Melodic Tardcore* and *Utsukushii* (both released in 2009).

Batfoot has garnered attention from Australian national radio station Triple J and has been praised for their energetic live performances, adopting a style that is often considered the epitome of Australian leather-clad punk rock. Their music career highlights include performances at festivals like Gingerfest in Canberra, Australia. Despite their punk roots, they have also experimented with roles outside traditional punk settings, such as performing as a wedding band.
