Nicola Ferro

Nicola Ferro is an accomplished Italian trombonist, composer, and arranger known for his versatility across genres including classical, jazz, electronic, pop, and film music. Born into a family of musicians, he started studying piano before focusing on trombone at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica “G. Martucci” in Salerno, where he graduated in 1996. He later earned a master's degree in Trombone Interpretation and Composition at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica AFAM San Pietro a Majella of Naples with highest honors. Nicola has worked with many renowned trombone masters and developed a deep expertise in musical expression, making him a respected figure in the world of trombone performance and composition.

His compositions, including notable works like the Tetralogy of the Sun Suite, have been performed and recorded by leading musicians such as Joseph Alessi of the New York Philharmonic. Nicola also serves as a trombone teacher at the Naples conservatory and is active in creating music that spans traditional and contemporary styles.
