Velian

Velian is a Bulgarian symphonic gothic metal band formed in 2015 in Sofia, featuring members Ivan Ivanov (vocals), Dilian Nedev (guitar, keyboard), Velizar Bolchev (drums), and Antonio Mitov. Known for blending passion and dark atmospheric elements in their music, they have made a significant mark on the Bulgarian metal scene. Their debut album "Godless," released in 2019, received high praise, including perfect scores from major Bulgarian metal media, cementing their reputation as kings of Bulgarian symphonic gothic metal.

Following "Godless," Velian continued to expand their discography with notable releases such as "Spectacle of Tragedy" in 2023 and the more recent "Embers." Their sound is characterized by deep, emotive vocals combined with rich symphonic layers and gothic metal intensity, offering listeners a captivating experience that showcases the members' strong musicianship and connection to the Bulgarian metal scene.
