Detieti is a Russian band founded in Moscow in 2004 by bassist Mikhail "Han" Ivanov and drummer Roman Karandaev. They are known for their eclectic mix of styles that blends elements of funk, dub, metal, ska, punk, and other genres, drawing influences from acts like early Queen and Mike Patton's projects, as well as Frank Zappa and Can. Detieti's music has evolved over time, initially characterized by an "overall atmosphere of a crazy circus" but more recently featuring a calmer and more thoughtful approach. Some of their notable releases include "Serious IV" and "Frogressive Punk," both of which showcase the band's ability to blend genres and create dynamic, unpredictable albums. Despite changes in their lineup, Detieti continues to produce engaging and varied music.
