Subsonica

Subsonica is an Italian electronic rock band formed in Turin in 1996. The group blends elements of rock, electronica, and pop, often experimenting with dance beats and socially conscious lyrics. The founding lineup features Samuel Umberto Romano (vocals), Max Casacci (guitar and programming), Boosta (Davide Dileo, keyboards), Ninja (Luca Vicini, drums), and Vicio (bass). They quickly gained attention in Italy's music scene with their energetic live shows and genre-bending sound.

Over the years, Subsonica has built a strong fan base in Italy and abroad, known for pushing musical boundaries and embracing technological innovation. Their 1999 album “Microchip Emozionale” became a breakthrough release and remains a landmark in Italian electronic music. The band has continued releasing acclaimed albums, including collaborative projects like "Microchip Temporale," which reimagines past songs with contemporary artists such as Achille Lauro and Coma Cose. With a career spanning more than two decades, Subsonica remains a powerful force in Italian alternative music.
