Cimarron 615 is a country-rock band with a rich musical heritage, drawing its name from the Poco classic "Rose of Cimarron" and Nashville's 615 area code. The band consists of seasoned musicians: Rick Lonow (drums, percussion, vocals), Jack Sundrud (bass, vocals), Michael Webb (keyboards, mandolin, vocals), and Ronnie Guilbeau (guitar, vocals). These members have extensive backgrounds in the music industry, with connections to legendary bands like Poco and the Flying Burrito Brothers. Their collective experience includes working with iconic artists such as Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton, and John Fogerty. Cimarron 615's music blends California country-rock with Americana and rock elements, featuring lush vocal harmonies and diverse instrumentation.

The band formed after a tribute concert for Rusty Young, the late co-founder of Poco, when Blue Élan Records' Kirk Pasich recognized their potential as a standalone act.
