Broadside

Broadside is an American pop-punk band that masterfully blends upbeat, infectious hooks with emotionally-driven lyrics, creating a sound that resonates with fans of energetic and heartfelt music. Founded in Richmond, Virginia in 2010, the band consists of vocalist Ollie Baxxter, guitarist Dorian Cooke, bassist Pat Diaz, and drummer Jeff Nichols. After signing with Victory Records, Broadside released their debut album, "Old Bones," in 2015. The record included tracks like "Puzzle Pieces" and "Hidden Colors," which showcased the band's knack for crafting memorable melodies paired with introspective storytelling. Broadside's sophomore effort, "Paradise," dropped in 2017, solidifying their reputation with singles such as "Laps Around A Picture Frame" and the titular track "Paradise." The band's latest release, "Into the Raging Sea," came out in 2020, offering an evolved sound that continues to capture the raw energy and emotion that has become synonymous with Broadside's brand of pop-punk.
