Elisabeth Holte

Elisabeth Holte is a renowned Norwegian conductor and artistic director, best known for her work with the Uranienborg Vokalensemble, which she founded in 2002. She serves as the ensemble's conductor and artistic leader, as well as a cantor at Uranienborg Church in Oslo. Holte graduated from the Norwegian Academy of Music with a Master's degree in conducting and has also studied under the legendary conductor Eric Ericson in Stockholm. Under her direction, Uranienborg Vokalensemble has become one of Norway's leading chamber choirs, known for its diverse repertoire and collaborations with prominent musicians and orchestras.

Holte's recent work includes albums such as *Fred over jorden*, *Himmelborgen*, *HIMMELRAND*, and *Song*, showcasing her dedication to both traditional and contemporary choral music.
