Ichirou Mizuki was a legendary Japanese singer and composer, best known as the "Emperor of Anime Songs" (アニソン界の帝王). With a career spanning over five decades, he became an iconic voice in the world of anime and tokusatsu (special effects) music. Mizuki's powerful vocals were behind theme songs for beloved classics like "Mazinger Z," "Kamen Rider," and "Captain Harlock," helping define the sound of the genre since the 1970s.

He was also a founding member of the anime song supergroup JAM Project and continued performing and recording into his later years, contributing to modern renditions of his classic hits and collaborating on new projects.
