Antonio Morel Y Su Orquesta was a Dominican merengue band led by the legendary accordionist and composer Antonio Morel. Morel was born in 1921 in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic. He began playing the accordion at a young age and quickly developed a reputation as a virtuoso. The band's popularity quickly grew, and they soon became one of the most sought-after acts in the region.
