Plastic Rhino

Plastic Rhino is a dynamic female-fronted Alternative Hard Rock duo based in Los Angeles. The band consists of Atara Glazer on vocals and Jack Glazer on guitar. They were raised on a myriad of musical influences, including 70's Progressive Rock, 80's Hair Metal, and 90's Alternative Grunge. Their musical journey began with a Craigslist ad that brought them together, initially performing in a cover band before deciding to create original music. They started Plastic Rhino in 2011 and began recording in 2013, initially producing an EP that explored various styles. Over time, they refined their sound, especially with the EP "Let's Begin," which drew comparisons to bands like Garbage and No Doubt.

Their recent work reflects the challenges of the pandemic, leading to albums like "Terminus," which captured the vibe of early 2000s alt-rock and explored themes of chaos and healing. Plastic Rhino's sound is characterized by Jack's robust guitar work and Atara's powerful vocals, both of which have garnered attention nationally and internationally. They have worked closely with producer Tom Chandler to refine their heavy, melodic sound, inspired by bands like Audioslave and Alice In Chains. Plastic Rhino's music often reflects their diverse influences and aims to engage fans with deep, message-heavy songs and energetic performances.
