Peter Goalby

Peter Goalby is a rock vocalist and guitarist who's been rocking the scene since the '70s. Born in England in 1950, he's probably best known for his stint as the lead singer of the legendary hard rock band Uriah Heep from 1982 to 1986, where he lent his powerful pipes to albums like Abominog, Head First, and Equator, helping the band navigate through some lineup changes and keep their classic sound alive. Before that, he cut his teeth with the funk-rock outfit Trapeze, joining them in the late '70s and contributing to their final album, Hold On.

After leaving Uriah Heep, Peter stepped back from the spotlight for a bit but later returned with some solid solo work, including releases like Easy with the Heartaches and I Will Come Runnin', showcasing his enduring passion for melodic rock. He's got a gritty, soulful voice that's influenced generations of rock fans, and even today, he's remembered as a key player in the British rock wave. If you're into classic hard rock, his era with Heep is definitely worth a spin!
