WAZGOGG is a Japanese hip-hop artist and DJ hailing from Akita, Japan. Born on August 20, 1994, he's made a name for himself with his unique blend of turntablism and beat-making skills. WAZGOGG's talent shone through early on, as he won the Tohoku qualifying round of the DMC DJ Championship for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018, showcasing his self-taught turntablism techniques.

As a producer and track-maker, WAZGOGG released his first album in August 2018 and has since been involved in various music projects. His beat style, which is rooted in hip-hop but transcends genres, has gained recognition both in Japan and internationally. WAZGOGG's versatility extends beyond traditional hip-hop, with his music being featured in video game soundtracks and commercials for major brands.
