DAVÓNE TINES is a Grammy-winning bass-baritone who has been praised for his "rich, resonant voice" and "commanding stage presence." Born in Virginia, TINES began singing in church at a young age. He went on to study music at the College of William & Mary and the Juilliard School.
TINES has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the San Francisco Symphony. He has also appeared in opera productions at the Metropolitan Opera, the San Francisco Opera, and the Glyndebourne Festival. In addition to his classical career, TINES is also an accomplished jazz singer and has released several albums of jazz standards.
