Prevention is a hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist Shane Johnson, guitarist Chris Ulsh, bassist Chris Taylor, and drummer Matt Embree. Prevention's music is characterized by its fast tempos, aggressive vocals, and politically charged lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "Anklebiter" and "Split the World," and is currently working on their debut full-length album. Prevention has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as Turnstile, Terror, and Code Orange.
